Mark Neary and Elliot Dicks |
||||||
Cute aint he? It's Mark Neary. And if his rock 'n' rollin' with Persona is any indication, he wears the pants for our local bass-players' community. Well, it's usually a pair of jeans and a tee shirt. Nice, casual, not too nice and too casual for a rock-n-roller; modest yet stylish, but not too too unrock 'n' rollerish. And if his mock-rock 'n' rollin' with Trimmed Naval Beef is any indication, he also wears the dress for our local mock-rock community. Note: His dark, deep-set eyes were perhaps the most difficult things to translate in beads. |
![]() I'll always remember Elliot as the very young drummer in the three-piece power pop band, Supagloo. Though, he's played with a sound storm of four-pieces since raiding The Edge with Ritche Perez and Dave Rowe - Victory cigarettes and Mark Bragg and the Black Wedding Band to name two; and not the least of which, the Novaks, appealing to both mainstream and independent audiences, rewriting everyone's favourite fairy tale: rock 'n' roll. |
