Elaine Davis
Bio:
The boring expurgated version
Meet Elaine Davis.
She's a bead artist. She's been doing it for fifteen years. (Really!) She is totally self-taught. She did a lot of sewing all through her childhood and simple sketches through her teens. And at sixteen she began simple beadwork: stitching bead trims to clothes and making fringes. Think: sewing, drawing, beading - she combined all three. Voila! Bead portraiture. By the age of twenty-one, she began her lasting expedition into the timeless world of beaded portraits.
Nice to meet you.
