Anne & Margot Frank |

![]() June 12, 1929 - March 25, 1945 A lot of us read Anne's diary for the first time in junior high school. I first read it when I was twenty-two. Admiring her courage and identifying with her love of writing, I beaded this portrait. It is not a plaque of tragic sympathy but a creative attempt to lend life to a little girl that selfish and senseless adult violence had taken so young. Both girls contracted typhus and died within days of each other, mere weeks before the liberation of Bergen-Belsen in 1945. |
