About the weather…
Wait a minute... ( Elaine ponders paradoxes). I often wonder why we Newfoundlanders complain about the weather so much. In Alberta they get thirty below temperatures ten days in succession. And we get one measly little minus-fifteen wind-chill day amid a ten-day succession of plus-one days and we're sooking. It's all that esteemed cloud, fog and wind that ironically keeps our climate so mild.
Surprise! Surprise! St. John's, Newfoundland is the third most temperate climate of all cities in Canada. Who would've known? Third only to Victoria and Vancouver.
So the weather, it's not so bad. Let's face it, it's just fickle. And if you don't like it then... just wait a minute.
