About Sh**-Talk

O humility! Settle my disturbed feelings within me so I don't have to take them out on others.

Humility puts ribbons and bows and a pretty little pink dress on ugly politics. This keeps the warm spirit from saying what she thinks to herself when she sees dumb TV ads supporting this self -centered cause or that self-centred cause. But she will not say "TV and Radio is propaganda garbage" even though in her heart she feels it is true. But the bald confidence of making such a claim scares her, and she decides to keep her mouth shut.

"What is propaganda garbage?" asks the warm spirit of humility. Well, when it's not dressed in the ribbons and bows that make you see the best in even the worst of life, it's My-God's-bigger-than-your-God type stuff. It's people putting other people down simply because they are different. They choose to live their lives differently. They decided to educate themselves this way as opposed to that way. They decided to work here as opposed to there. They decided to love this way of life as opposed to that way of life. They decided to be real. They decided to have fun. They decided to love life not someone else's version of it. Shit-talk is putting down and making feel small everyone who decided to live their lives differently than you did. And of course, the way the shit-talkers decide to live their lives is better.

Shit-talk puts its face all over TV and tells the world everything it's doing wrong - how it could lie better, steal better, murder better - instead of just telling stories about the Starfall Fantasy Angel. Her silver blue hair shimmers in the black night. She cradles a fallen red-as-morning cardinal in her arms. Shit-talk tells the entire world to live more like shit instead of writing poems about narrow roads that come from some mysterious somewhere. They wind towards a palm-sized one-room refuge in the middle of some simple nowhere: The church of independent spirits. Shit-talk bitches about miserable things instead of just plain talking about happy things.

I pursue the multiplicity, synchronicity, and singularity of one. I love and believe in the potential for people to be as good as one another in the way I see them, if not one in the way the world sees them. In the spirit of universal bigotry, people try to get other people to change things about themselves. But in the universe of spiritual liberty, the spirit changes people.

Propaganda garbage is a polite euphemism for shit-talk. Some build their shit around such talk: The more people they belittle, the better.
