| This guy faded into shadow
after his departure from Urban Sound a few years ago. Up until that point
we were pretty good friends. We still are in spirit. We just never see
each other anymore. Changing interests and conflicting schedules I guess.
He is the Teen Beat-inspired indie obscurity Linger Effect. I still have
his "Always Sick" release from 1999/2000. In fact, I received my copy
before he received his. (Remember that Kent? You wanted to check it out
for yourself.) Despite his unfortunate (for us) removal from the arts and music community that's still hangin' on today, it does not go on without him. This guy continues to provide more electricity for the scene than some of the most active rock 'n' rollers still plugged into it today. A CHMR deejay for seven years (or more), manager of Urban Sound for almost as long and the founder of the Gamberg list, Kent's legacy never crumbles. This guy has certainly left his mark. - We miss you Kent.
