The Nicest Guys You Could Ever Meet |
||
Gabriel Piller The next David Wisdom, Gabe's hosted his own radio show since he was barely fifteen. He knows as much about indie rock as Fred Gamberg knew about punk. As an indie chick, I'm proud to be his friend. And he IS a friend, and a mighty fine one, even though we hardly ever see each other. He's come a long way from the little stoutie with the ripped up jeans and dreads I first met at the Peace-A-Chord six (maybe seven) years ago. He's right in the shank of University and has recently travelled to Germany. This CHMR prodigy and Fred's Records asset is one of the nicest guys I ever met. Long Live Low!

Lewk Power My #1 fan, Lewk "gender politics" Power listened regularly to my scattered CHMR radio show "Strangely Introverted". With his semi-regular phonecalls, his thoughtful comments and great requests, I felt like Lewk Power's Fred Gamberg. He made the nervous stuttering and the "cute and emotional" commentary worth my while. I did my radio show just for him. He once served as Stephen Goodkid's sidekick in the kook-rock band "The Get Off". This modest CHMR voice and lovely Fred's Record's face is another one of the nicest guys I ever met. Long Live Fisherspooner!
